Query about paginated pages

    Hi,
    Should we index the paginated pages(like my home page is the blog page, and it has many pages for all the posts)? What is the best practice for SEO for these paginated pages? And how can we do the best settings on the Rank Math plugin for these pages?

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math.

    To save on your crawl budget and avoid duplicate content issues we usually recommend to noindex paginated pages. This is not however mandatory as different SEO practitioners will have different opinions on the same. If you wish to set paginated pages to noindex, you can do so in Rank math > Titles & Meta > Misc. You can also noindex paginated archive pages by enabling the option to noindex sub-archives under the same tab.
