Qtn on Coverage errors: Crawled/currently not indexed

    Google did a crawl on my Site dated Mar 31, 2020, 5:09:51 PM.

    I checked for Coverage errors & found 135 URLs under ‘Crawled – currently not indexed’

      Scenario #1

    Out of 135 URLs, 132 URLs have a /feed/ extension.

      Qtn 1

    Do any of the Permalinks with /feed/ extension have an impact on SEO ? Do I simply ignore them ?

      Scenario #2

    Out of the 132 URLs (w/feed), 2 URLs are HomePage URLs:

    https://www.pinecareproperties.com/homepage/feed/
    https://www.pinecareproperties.com/feed/

      Qtn 2

    How I deal with the 2x Homepage URLs ?

      Scenario #3

    Out of 135 URLs, 3 URLs don’t have a /feed/ extension

    https://www.pinecareproperties.com/luxury-villas-in-kenya/portfolio-type/residence/bathroom/
    https://www.pinecareproperties.com/portfolio/
    https://www.pinecareproperties.com/residence/

    Why didn’t Google index these 3 URLs ?

    Is it because the Page content is not optimised for SEO ie Rank Math Score is showing 8/100 ?

    I have uploaded the Crawled/currently not indexed Excel file for your ref.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    1). Do any of the Permalinks with /feed/ extension have an impact on SEO ? Do I simply ignore them ? the feed URLs will be beneficial to site visitors who are looking for feeds to your content and thus it is wise to set this to index as they are. The fact that they have already been crawled means that they are on the queue and will soon be indexed.

    2). How I deal with the 2x Homepage URLs ? You don’t have to worry about this since these are not duplicates of the homepage but are links that provide feed data in XML format.

    3). As mentioned on point 1, this is not a bad thing, these posts are on the queue and will soon be indexed.
