I am having the same problem. Solved immediately by switching off “remove base” from the settings -> Woocommerce tab. This sucked btw. It would be really nice if the 404 monitor sent us an alert, I went a whole day before I noticed.

I have temporarily disabled the strip product base option and made use of the same option on the Premmerce link manager plugin to avoid the 404 errors on your store.
