    Issue Summary: I am encountering a Product Snippet error on all the /shop/ pages of my website. Even after enabling the “Remove Snippet Data” option, the error persists.

    Steps Taken:

    I have already enabled the “Remove Snippet Data” option in RankMath settings.
    Cleared the cache and verified settings were applied, but the error is still occurring.
    Tested on multiple pages within the /shop/ directory, and the issue remains the same.
    Expected Outcome: I need the snippet data removed from these pages to resolve the product snippet error.

    Urgency: This issue is affecting my website’s SEO, and I require an urgent solution.

    Please advise on any additional steps or configurations I might need to apply, or if there is a known issue that could be causing this problem.

  • Hello,

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with the Product Snippet error on your shop pages. Thank you for providing a detailed summary of the steps you’ve taken so far.

    Since you have already enabled the "Remove Snippet Data" option in the Rank Math settings and cleared the cache, here are a few additional steps you can take:

    1. Double-check the Settings: Ensure that the "Remove Snippet Data" option is indeed enabled for all relevant product categories. Sometimes, settings may not apply as expected.

    2. Custom Code: If the issue persists, you might need to add a custom code snippet to your theme’s rank-math.php file to ensure that all schema data is removed from your shop pages. Here’s how you can do that:

      • Create or edit the rank-math.php file in your theme directory.
      • Add the following code snippet:

        /**
      • Filter to remove all Schema from shop pages
        */
        add_filter(‘rank_math/json_ld’, function ($data, $jsonld) {
        if (is_shop()) {
        return [];
        }
        return $data;
        }, 99, 2);

      • Save the changes and check if the error persists.
    3. Check for Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins or themes may conflict with Rank Math. Temporarily disable other plugins to see if the issue resolves.

    4. Google Search Console: After making these changes, monitor your Google Search Console for any updates on the Rich Result errors. It may take some time for Google to re-crawl your pages and reflect the changes.

    If you continue to experience issues after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from our support team will assist you further.

    Thank you for your patience, and we hope to resolve this issue promptly!
