PRODUCT GALLERY: Add an image with your Focus Keyword as alt text

    I have a problem with products images alt text.
    It shows “Add an image with your Focus Keyword as alt text”
    I definately added focus kw to alt texts to the product galley images but the “Add an image with your Focus Keyword as alt text” is still there.

    There seems to be no problems when I added KW to the main product image but it shows an error when KW is added to the product gallery images. Is it possible that Rank Math doesn’t count product gallery images alt texts? And if so, then why? Or how can I fix this?

    Thanks for contacting us. Sorry for the delay and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Yes, you are getting that error because Rank Math’s content analysis doesn’t read the content inside the product gallery field. It only considers the Product Image field. I have informed the devs and they will consider this as a feature request.

    Being said that, the score generated by the content analysis is only for your reference and doesn’t affect your site’s SEO performance. So you can ignore the test as you know that you have an image with the focus keyword as its alt text in your content and search engines will be able to identify that.
