Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.
We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please add your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/
You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

Thank you, and we really look forward to helping you.

I will make a live copy of the site and forward the information. Thank you for your attention.
Best Regards
Hello,
Thank you for getting back to us,
It sets the commodity of the first product in the category in the meta description as the category meta.
Upon checking your product categories on your site, I noticed that they pick the description set on the category page. This is because you have set the term description already.
This is the order we follow to generate meta descriptions for WooCommerce product or product category for that matter:
1. Content from SEO Description field
If that is missing, then:
2. WooCommerce Excerpt or Product Short Description [For Products page]
If that is missing, then:
3. Template From General Settings in WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Products
If that is missing, then:
4. Auto-generated Content from the product page or from the product category description.
You can try removing the term description and enter the custom description to see if it changes.
We are looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hi Brain
https://prnt.sc/10rei4d we specify the meta description for the product category. However, the problem is that we cannot get the category name into the commodity. I tested it according to the steps you gave.
Best Regards
Hello,
Thank you for that additional information, and sorry for the delay.
I’ve checked your site following our guide enabling only Rank Math, WooCommerce, and your theme during troubleshooting mode, and it seems that the meta description is showing fine. Please see the screencast in the designated sensitive data section.
You can then enable one by one your plugins to see which of them is causing conflict to your website. Let us know if you found the culprit.
I’ve also noticed that you’re using the %category% variable for your meta description. To get the product category of WooCommerce, you can use the %customterm(product_cat)% variable.
I hope that helps. Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance.
Hi
I continued by testing all the steps, but I still receive the meta of the first product.
Best Regards
Hello,
Thanks for contacting us. Sorry for the delay and any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.
I was checking for a conflict on your site and was able to confirm that it is a plugin conflict. When just Rank Math and your theme were enabled, the meta description was being taken from the Global Titles & Meta settings for product-categories. However, I wasn’t able to complete the troubleshooting as I got a 401 Authorization Required server error.

Please check and let us know when we can continue with the troubleshooting.
We really look forward to helping you.
