Problems with SERP results – google

    Hello there, I have searched for these problems and am still somewhat confused, I’d be grateful for some help, thank you.

    1/ All our product images are appearing in the serps (and most have horrible nonsense names !), I followed your answer to another user and marked Images in Sitemaps in Sitemap settings to OFF, and I trust this fixes that issue.
    2/ Our shop page has been indexed as 8 different pages (“Products – Page 7” etc, click any serp result of the 8 and one is taken to the (only) shop page. How do I prevent this please?
    3/ We are getting product serp results with “Archive” appearing in the title, clicking on this “Archive” version takes a user to the actual non-archive product page. How do I stop this behaviour for products and categories please. I can see the option “no archive” in Titles and Meta”, but it says that only stops the page being cached.
    Somehow we need to stop whatever is inserting the word “archive” into the product in the serps.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    1). You can also go ahead and set attachments to noindex by heading over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Attachments and enable the noindex robots meta.

    2). You can noindex paginated pages by heading over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Misc pages > Noindex Paginated Pages.

    3). Unfortunately we don’t have any control over how SERP results are displayed and Google displays them as per their will.
