Hello,
We apologize for the issues you are facing with your website. It sounds like there are multiple concerns that need to be addressed, including the problems with images not appearing in categories, the increase in redirects, and the overall performance of your site.
Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot and potentially resolve these issues:
-
Check for Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, other plugins can conflict with Rank Math, causing unexpected behavior. Try deactivating other plugins temporarily to see if that resolves the issues.
-
Review Redirects: If you have set up redirects incorrectly, it could lead to 404 errors or missing images. You can refer to our guide on fixing unwanted URLs redirecting to help identify and correct any misconfigurations.
-
404 Monitor: Check the 404 Monitor in Rank Math to see which URLs are returning 404 errors. This can help you identify if there are specific pages or images that are missing.
-
Image URLs: Ensure that the URLs for your images are correct and that the images are still present in your media library. If they have been moved or deleted, that could explain why they are not showing up.
-
Server Performance: If your server is struggling, it may be worth discussing this with your hosting provider. They can help optimize server settings or suggest upgrades if necessary.
-
Self-Diagnosis: You can perform a self-diagnosis using Rank Math’s tools to identify any potential issues with your setup. More information can be found in our documentation.
-
Consider Rebuilding: If the issues persist and you feel overwhelmed, it might be worth considering a rebuild of certain parts of your site or seeking professional help to optimize it.
If you continue to experience problems after trying these steps, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.
Thank you for raising your concerns, and we hope to help you get your website back on track!

Solving Redirection Issues Using Rank Math SEO Plugin » Rank Math
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Rank Math support, and we apologise for the inconvenience caused.
To help you fix this issue please follow these steps:
- First, please install the Query Monitor plugin on your website. This plugin will help us identify any queries related to Rank Math that might be slowing down your dashboard. Once you install it, please go to your dashboard and look for the Query Monitor icon on the top bar. Click on it and take a screenshot for us. You can use this tool to upload the screenshot and share the link with us.
- Second, please check the PHP values of your site by going to WordPress dashboard > Tools > Site Health > Info tab > Server. These values affect the performance of your site and they should be set according to the following recommendations:
PHP Memory Limit: 512M
Max input time: 150
PHP time limit: 120
PHP max input variables: 1000
If any of these values are lower than the recommended ones, please contact your hosting provider and ask them to increase them for you.

Thank you for choosing Rank Math.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
Thank you for reaching out to us, we are truly sorry to hear about the issues you’re facing after switching from Yoast to Rank Math.
It sounds like multiple factors are contributing to the problems you’re experiencing, so let’s address each one step by step:
1. Images Missing in Categories: Please share some URLs where the images are missing after creating 301 redirects.
2. Server Overload & Slowness: We were unable to determine from the screenshot you shared that Rank Math is responsible for the server overload on your site. The several PHP errors are a good place to begin.
Also, ensure you have a caching solution in place. You can use plugins like WP Rocket or W3 Total Cache.
3. PHP Limits: Your server’s PHP configuration looks healthy with generous limits, but if you’re still experiencing server issues, you might need to check the server logs to ensure there’s nothing else causing bottlenecks (like excessive memory usage).
4. Rankings Drop: Please ensure that you have imported all the relevant settings from Yoast to Rank Math properly: https://rankmath.com/kb/yoast-seo-migration/
We hope this helps. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
Thank you.
I have decided to go back to Yoast and sort out all the issues I am now faced with, while I lose my ranking on Google.
