    In this type of situation, Google perceives the URL with and without the trailing slash as two distinct URLs when indexing. So, when it encounters a URL without the trailing slash and gets redirected to the one with the trailing slash, it is reported in Google Search Console as a redirect.

    While Google Search Console is reporting these as “redirects”, they typically don’t have a significant impact on SEO or site performance. Google is quite adept at handling such trivial redirects, and it shouldn’t affect your site’s rankings.
