Problem with sitemap on Google Search Console

    Hi! My name is Carla and I recently created a blog about cats (sougato.com.br). I use MathRank free version and have already submitted a sitemap to Search Console, but whenever I publish new text or WebStories I have to manually index it in Search Console. I wonder why? Am I doing something wrong?
    On Search Console, the message in the sitemap area is: processed. I don’t know what I could be doing wrong. Could you guide me? Thanks!

    Thank you for contacting the support, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Can you please access your sitemaps for your post directly and check if the newly published post is added to the list? You can access the sitemap here: https://yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml

    If you can’t see the new posts in the sitemap right away. Chances are your sitemap files are heavily cached. Please follow the steps below:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    Do note that it is completely normal for a newly published post to take time before it gets crawled or indexed by Google. It depends on a lot of factors. Your posting frequency + the domain authority are just two of the many factors Google considers when indexing some new URL. Google assigns a crawl budget to your website depending on these factors (especially these two) and that has a direct effect on how soon or how late your content can get indexed.
