    Hello
I have installed RankMath on a clients website- they are getting approval to purchase a business level license- just has to be approved by the Executive Committee.
The site is ferrariclubofamerica.us- it uses Divi as the theme and it is a network multisite. When RankMath is enabled, the main site in the front end visual builder, we cannot add new images to slideshow galleries nor to new galleries. I have included a screencast at the beginning of this ticket.

When I disable RankMath, all functionality returns. When RankMath is enabled in the other network subdomain sites, all functions are fine.

Can someone help me troubleshoot this? I use RankMath on all my sites and it is my preferred SEO Tool.

    Thanks
    Chris Rabkin

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with Rank Math on your network website using the Divi theme. It sounds like a frustrating situation, especially since it affects the functionality of the visual builder.

Since you mentioned that the problem occurs only on the main site and not on the subdomain sites, it could be related to how Rank Math is configured or installed in your multisite environment. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check Your Access with Role Manager

Ensure that your user role has been granted all the required user capabilities in the Role Manager settings inside Rank Math. You can access this by navigating to Rank Math > Role Manager in your WordPress dashboard. After enabling the required capabilities, click the Update Capabilities button to save changes.

    Rank Math Role Manager

    2. Verify Rank Math Activation Network-Wide

Make sure that Rank Math is activated network-wide if you are using a multisite setup. Only the Super Admin can install and activate plugins across the network. If it’s not installed correctly, it may lead to issues like the one you are experiencing. You can follow our detailed tutorial on installing Rank Math in a multisite environment.

    3. Check for Plugin Conflicts

Sometimes, conflicts with other plugins can cause issues. Try deactivating other plugins temporarily to see if that resolves the problem when Rank Math is enabled.

    4. Clear Cache

If you are using any caching plugins or server-side caching, clear the cache after making changes to see if that resolves the issue.

If you have tried these steps and are still facing issues, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will take over and assist you further.

Thank you for bringing this concern to our attention, and we appreciate your patience as we work to resolve it!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

This issue could be caused by conflicting plugins/themes on your website. Kindly make sure you are using the latest version of all the plugins and themes, please update if not yet.

Here’s a guide for troubleshooting further if the issue persists:

Only the site admin would know and your users won’t be affected by this troubleshooting.

However, please note that the correct way to use our plugins on a multisite setup is to install them on the network but only activate them on specific subsites.

For more details, you can check this URL: https://rankmath.com/kb/installing-rank-math-on-a-multisite-environment/

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

Done that already more than once. Also rankmath is not network activated, only activated on the main network site.

    Hello,

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Please do take a complete backup of your website before sharing the information with us.

    Sensitive Data Section

It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/temporary-login-without-password/

You can use the above plugin in conjunction with the WP Security Audit Log to monitor what changes our staff might make on your website (if any):

    https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-security-audit-log/

We really look forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Sorry for the delay.

We tried logging into your WP dashboard but we can’t seem to do so. The login form doesn’t work. When we tried logging in using the two users you shared, it just stays on the login page – no errors or anything.

Can you please verify this from your end so we can continue debugging the situation?

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

I updated the pw on the imageprojektions.com email address login- the websupport email login works with the credentials supplied. Let me know. The c*****@i******************* login is the login having issues with RankMath. There is another login that is experiencing the same issues, so if we can fix/identify what is wrong with this login – it will be easy to fix the other.

    Hello,

We deeply apologize for the unexpected delay in response.

We checked your website, and we can see that all the plugins are activated on your network except Rank Math. For further troubleshooting, we’ll need to deactivate the plugins from the network and activate them on your subsite.

Now, if you permit, we can do this or you’ll have to activate the plugins on your subsite so that we can check the issue further for you.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

We will just create a new login since the problem seems to revolve around RankMath and the Divi theme for just some superusers.
This is an active website and we can’t just go ahead and disable plugins while it is live.

    Hello,

    We completely understand that.

If you face the issue again, you can create a staging site for us where we can troubleshoot the issue without affecting your live site: https://rankmath.com/blog/how-to-create-staging-site/

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Since we did not hear back from you for 15 days, we are assuming that you found the solution. We are closing this support ticket.

If you still need assistance or any other help, please feel free to open a new support ticket, and we will be more than happy to assist.

    Thank you.
