Problem with images while searching the site

    Hi. Since I installed your plugin I must have done something in options and while searching for a post in my WordPress site, I get duplicate results from the post and the image (with the same name).
    Is there a way I can fix this?

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us, and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    Usually, this issue occurs if there’s an attachment page on your site with the same slug.

    Could you please check if this option is enabled in Rank Math > General Settings > Links?

    Attachments

    If so, please try disabling the option and check again if the issue persists.

    If it was fixed upon disabling that option, please check if you have an attachment with the same name as your URL. You can re-upload the media with a different file name or at least rename the attachment URL to a different slug.

    Once done, re-enable the redirect attachment options again.

    Thank you for the fast reply.

    I do have my attachments named after my post titles, so that’s why they pop up in the search. It just started after I installed the plugin, it wasn’t doing it before.
    I tried your suggestion but nothing changed. It’s ok though, I changed my search function for the site and it kinda fixed it.
