There seems to be an extra line being added on your sitemap URL.
Assuming you are using the latest version of all the plugins and the themes (please update if not yet), it would seem like a conflict with one of the plugins or the theme you are using.

I tried installing the plugin you mentioned for diagnostics, I activated rank math and theme and it gives problems if I put e.g. a basic theme it works. The strange thing is that I have other sites with the same template and it works perfectly, any advice?

You may try following the steps below to see if that works for you.
1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

If the issue still persists, I would like to suggest you to get in touch with the theme provider, in order to see if they can resolve the issue for you. As the issue seems to related to the theme that you’re currently using.
