Price of variable product not removed in schema

    Hello,
I am writing regarding two pages of a website that is using your “Rank Math Free”.
    Nice plugin, by the way.
One page, https://thewebhub.com/services/wordpress-backups/ is a single product.
And https://thewebhub.com/services/wordpress-virus-malware-removal/ is a variable product.
In google, if you type site:thewebhub.com you can see that for the variable product is showing the schema for price, specifically it’s showing the pricing range. While on the other product is not showing.
In Rank Math Free settings, if I am not mistaken, there’s an option to “remove schema from products”.
But then it’s still showing in search results, any thoughts?
    Thank you

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We have the option “Remove Schema Markup on shop/categories” which will only remove the schema markup from shop/categories page.

If you’re looking to not display that particular product on google search then you might want to set it to no-index.

    Please see the screencast below:

    I hope that helps.

If this is not what you mean then could you kindly elaborate on what you like to achieve so we could help you further.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Thank you for your reply.
I need to show both products on Google search, so noindex is not an option.
I want to remove the products’ schema from serp.
Maybe you’ll want to add that option to the plugin, like you have for shop and categories, if you think it can be helpful for someone.

    Hello,

When using WooCommerce, Rank Math takes the schema data from your product pages automatically and turns it into Schema-ready content.

If you have added Price for your product variables, then this will be added automatically to your products.

If you don’t wish to have this, you have the following options:

:> Remove the price on your products.

:> Disable product schema on your product pages.

:> Use the following filter to modify the schema and remove the Price property::https://rankmath.com/kb/filters-hooks-api-developer/#change-post-schema-data

Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.

I found this https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/disable-price-and-stock-rich-snippet/ to remove just price and availability. In case someone needs.

:> Disable product schema on your product pages.
It’s an option, but I will want to keep reviews schema.

Are reviews/ratings also part of your schema? Or is the review schema generated separately by Woocommerce? If they are not part of yours but they are still generated separately by Woocommerce, then I could also consider disabling your whole product schema from product pages.

    Hello,

Was the code snippet helpful in resolving the issue?

The review schema added by Rank math in case of WooCommerce products is taken directly from WooCommerce product reviews. The review schema should still be added but only for the products with actual reviews.

    Hope this helps you.
