Posts not showing in the sitemap

    Hi,

    I’ve just noticed my sitemap is showing a lower number of post URLs than I have published. I have 397 published, but the sitemap is only showing 351.

    They shouldn’t be many no-indexed, perhaps one or two, so I’m not sure what’s happening. Is there a way I can see what posts, if any, have been no-indexed?

    I’ve included my sitemap link in the sensitive data field.

    If you could please take a look and let me know the situation, that would be great.

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    You can filter your posts to show the noindexed ones in the post list view

    Noindexed

    After ensuring that they are already set to index, please follow the steps below for initial troubleshooting:

    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:

    If the issue still persists, please go through this guide for the common reasons why a URL is not included in your sitemap:

    Thanks, I think that has done the trick.

    Do you know how long it will take for Google to crawl those missing URLs now? Is there any way to speed that process up?

    Hello,

    We don’t have any time frame by when Google will recrawl the website. It can be tomorrow or in weeks. If you want to push those URLs to Google you can use instant indexing https://rankmath.com/blog/google-indexing-api/
