it’s already been more than 20 hours since I have taken the risk of turning off login security. My site has been receiving lots of login attempts attacks.
Hello,
I can check that you only have one published post and the rest of the posts are in the drafts. And in the published post, you have entered the canonical URL manually in the Advanced Tab of the meta box.
Rank Math automatically sets the URL of the post as the canonical URL when the field is empty. If you enter the URL manually then it treats it as duplicate content and excludes the post from the sitemap. I have removed the URL and now your post is being included in the sitemap.
And for the blog page being included in both the sitemaps, that is not an issue. As my colleague has already explained that the blog page is the archive for your posts, that’s why it is being included in the post sitemap to let the search engine crawlers know the same. And since it is an actual page, it is being included in the page sitemap.
Hope this helps. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
Thanks.
Thank You!
How do I resolve the blog page in sitemap?
It’s appearing on both page and post sitemap. Is it due to the same mistake?
Hello,
The blog page included in both the post and the page sitemap is not an issue. That is how it is supposed to work. As my colleague has already explained that the blog page is the archive for your posts, that’s why it is being included in the post sitemap to let the search engine crawlers know the same. And since it is an actual page, it is being included in the page sitemap.
Hope this clarifies your doubts. Let us know if you need any other assistance.
Believing in Jaideep Asrani, Thank you so much, brother. The issue was small but I couldn’t identify it.
The blog page in both sitemaps won’t create any SEO issue, thanks for clearing this doubt.
