1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:

2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server.

It seems the WP Engine system is caching your sitemaps. You should ask their support to exclude from caching these patterns:
/(.*)sitemap(.*).xml
/(.*)sitemap.xsl

Hi, WP Engine has excluded the sitemap from cache but it didn’t fix the issue.

The logins you shared are for the staging website. We changed the links per sitemap limit from 200 to 5000 at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Sitemap Settings. That seems to have sorted for the staging website and we are sure changing that setting on the live website will fix the issue as well.
