POST request makes website slow: getFeaturedImageId

    Our Website (frontend and backend) is really slow. In the server log is always a /wp-json/rankmath/v1/getFeaturedImageId?_locale=user message when we open our WordPress Builder. It’s a post request. We are using Divi as theme.

    The message pops op every second while we are inside the builder.

    Now we deactivated Rankmath completely (Free and Pro Version). Now backend is a bit faster but so fast like about 2 weeks before.

    We are using WordPress 6.0.

    We are depend on Rankmath for structures data and sitemaps.

    Can you please help me how we can avoid that POST request?
    Are there Any conflicts with rank math and WordPress 6.0?

    Hello,

    Thanks for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

    That route will only run when someone is editing a particular page and it’s used to fetch the featured image of that page.

    Because of this, we can’t postpone/avoid this route in any way as this is not something scheduled to take place at any particular time of the day.
