Portfolio images don't appear in sitemap - Support

I switched from yoast to RankMath a day ago, because there is an issue with WPBakery and yoast, which resulted in seo penalty because of thin pages. yoast didn’t include images from posts/pages/portfolio items in the sitemap.

RankMath is working fine and is including the missing images, but is leaving out others.
I noticed, that images from my portfolio items are not included in the sitemap. I have set my portfolio to be included in sitemap.xml, but am not sure which field names I have to enter in RankMath options for the images to be in the sitemap.
Should it be the div they are in?

We might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress & FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

The feature to include images from the custom fields using ACF is in the Pro version at the moment. I have tried checking your site here, and it seems like you are using your theme/plugin to insert the gallery images. If you wish to include the images in the sitemap you should include the custom field (post meta) names that contain image URLs in the sitemap settings of your portfolio as shown here:https://i.rankmath.com/gKILxR.

Could you check the custom field you’re using and insert it there to include the images in your portfolio sitemap? You can also contact your theme/plugin developer on this.

Does this mean I can still make the images from ACF appear if I know the field names, or isn’t listing of portfolio gallery images in ACF fields possible with the free version of Rank Math?

Hello,

Thank you for the follow-up.

Yes, you may need to know the custom field names and add them to the Image Custom Fields in Sitemap Settings.

I’ve also checked your sitemap, and it seems it’s getting an error for XML text declaration.

There must be some white-spaces before the XML Sitemap’s source code. You can check this link for more information on how to fix this issue:
