Plugin update not working

    When logging in to my WP account, there was a notification of an update to Rank Math SEO PRO.

    I have tried to update it and get this error: Update failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature

    This seems to be something on your side.

    Please advise.

    Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to this issue.

    This error is usually due to trying to update the Rank Math PRO plugin while connected to a free account. We can see a valid Rank Math PRO subscription on your account.

    You may try disconnecting and reconnecting Rank Math to see if that works for you.

    You can disconnect your account by navigating to WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Dashboard > Help and then simply disconnect the account by clicking on Disconnect Account.

    Once you’ve disconnected your Rank Math account, you can connect it again in the same settings. In order to connect your correct account, click on Connect Now.

    Once you click on Connect Now, please ensure that you’ve selected the correct account and then click on OK, Activate Now.
