The site, https://letstraveltomexico.com/ has some images from the Amazon Affiliates site links embedded. When embedding new images, they’re not displaying correctly. After about 20 seconds to a minute, a 2nd image appears as an error. Normally the 2nd image in Amazons coding is hidden, but Rankmath is causing it to load incorrectly.
During testing, the image starts loading correctly without any errors when Rankmath is disabled.
Whilst Rankmath is enabled, the error occurs.Tests have been carried out with all plugins disabled, and the WordPress default Twenty Twenty-two theme enabled. Server-side cache and Cloudways bot security have also been disabled. There is another WP site hosted on the same server that isn’t having this issue.
Rankmath has been rolled back to older versions and reinstalled. The database transients have been cleared out as well as rebuilding any missing tables.

We tried to replicate the issue on the website but even with Rank Math enabled we were not able to see any issues with the images not being loaded.
Also, the screenshot you shared initially it’s no longer accurate since the page you mentioned doesn’t include mentions of any books.
Please let us know of any other steps to reproduce the issue so we can advise further.

I have conducted further troubleshooting and it seems the image is still broken even with Rank Math deactivated. Please refer to my video screencast in the Sensitive Data section.
As for the “code” you are seeing on the front end. That is actually the alt text generated by Rank Math. If you go to the Image SEO settings under Rank Math > General Settings > Images, the “Add missing ALT attributes” option is configured to generate the filename of the image and currently, the image path generated is invalid hence, it generates an unexpected alt text. Alt text tends to display on the front end as a fallback if the image is broken.
