Please note that our plugin doesn’t create a physical file for the sitemap so if you try to get the contents with that function it’s normal to see that error.
We generate the sitemaps dynamically to make sure they are always updated and with the latest articles and pages so that Search Engines can crawl the correct version of the website consistently.

I don’t understand your explanation. I understand your plugin gets the sitemap dynamically but surely there shouldn’t be any errors. The file in the uploads folder is not being found.

Our plugin doesn’t create any physical file for the sitemap. It’s all generated automatically and on the fly.
The cURL command tried to fetch a physical file but that doesn’t exist, but if you try to access the sitemap URL directly you’ll see it loading and so does Google.

The CURL command was from my Bugsnag report. The actual fail was from a bot scan. Sorry for the confusion. I have 2 errors from Google bots

The sitemap is loading fine but it’s not accessible to Google because of some sort of blockage on your website.
When Googlebot tries to load the sitemap it encounters a 403 error which is an indication that something is blocking access to that file.

You can check your firewall or contact your hosting provider about this situation.
