    Rank Math free

Hi, I’m looking to upgrade to Rankmath Pro but I have a concern.

If I connect Rankmath to an account, will other site administrators be able to access my other websites data (within search console) via Rankmath? Sometimes clients want admin permissions to sites, and I look after many clients via search console and analytics etc. from a single Google account.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

Yes, you can configure the accessibility options for your site admins using Rank Math Role Manager:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/role-manager/

From there, you can manage your site administrator’s user access, for example, the Analytics.

    I hope that helps.

Thank you, and please don’t hesitate to contact us anytime if you need further assistance with anything else.

So the problem is then unless I create a custom role, any administrator will be able to access all rank math data and any accounts connected to it.

Also clients often have access to the hosting, so they can get in as administrator.
Is there a way analytic views can be password protected?

    Regards,

    Hello,

Since you and your clients have administrator access, you will all be able to view Rank Math’s Analytics page.

Unfortunately, the only way to exclude users from accessing the Analytics module is through Rank Math’s Role Manager.

If you wish to add password protection, you would need to customize the plugin core which is beyond our scope of support.

Hope that helps you with your situation. Looking forward to helping you with this one.
