Permalinks keep disappearing

    I have to keep checking my pages because every once in a while, randomly, pages seem to lose the permalinks I have set up within RankMath and default to something else. I don’t know what is causing it and have not noticed any correlation.

    Is there not any way to take a look at settings beforehand? This happens frequently enough and yet every time it has happened, it took you over a week to respond. I cannot let live links be inactive or broken for a week at a time. This has been an ongoing issue literally for months. You have had plenty of time to check on those links. Surely there’s something else you can do in the meantime as this is a pervasive problem.

    There has to be something wrong somewhere. I have had an ongoing issue with the redirection and 404 errors as well. They simply do not redirect even when set up correctly. Not sure if it’s related, but doesn’t hurt to throw it out there.

    Hello,

    We checked your website and the redirections are working. Please share the specific redirection rule so we can check this further from our end.

    As for the 404 Monitor, the URLs here seem to be coming from a different website, and the path contains its domain. Redirecting it using our plugin may not work initially. What you can do here is add a slash in the beginning when you create the redirection, like so:

    As for your original issue, can you please create a staging website for us so we can debug the issue further? If the affected URL keeps getting removed (to avoid issues in the live site), we can’t troubleshoot the issue properly.

    With a staging website, you can reproduce the issue there and keep the affected URL in place for us so we can debug the situation.
