Permalinks Broken

    When I install the RankMath SEO plug-in, all our PDF permalinks seem to break and no longer work.

    What would be the setting that I need to look into to make sure this doesn’t happen?

    We love RankMath much better than Yoast SEO, but unless I can figure out how to correct the permalink issue, we won’t be able to use RankMath.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Please check if this option is enabled in Rank Math > General Settings > Links

    PDF

    If so, please disable the option and check again your PDFs.

    Thanks for the response! However, the only toggle setting I see when I look in “Link” is “Open External Links in New/Tab Window”, I am not seeing the toggle that you show in your above screenshot?

    Hello,

    Please note that some options are only available when you enable the Advanced Mode in Rank Math. If it’s not showing, you must have chosen to use Easy Mode. Please follow the steps in this link to switch to Advanced Mode:

    Once done, clear your website’s cache and check again.
