    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math today.

    Yes, you can do that but you do have an option to automatically create a redirection if you change your product URL slug.

    Please turn on Redirection module, head over to Rank Math > General Settings > Redirections, and turn on “Auto Post Redirect”.

    Thanks for the information. If change my product url slug and enable 301 redirection, would there be any impact to my SEO?

    Hello,

    301 redirections do not harm SEO performance but make sure that it’s working; otherwise, you may lose your traffic. The visitors will get 404 pages. Thus, you should avoid that.
