Password not accepted in initial setup of plugin…

    Rank Math free

I’ve created a RankMath account, and installed/activated the WordPress plugin. However, when I attempt to access the Setup Wizard and I’m prompted to enter my RankMath credentials, I’m told that the password I entered is incorrect – despite the fact that I’m logging into my account right here with the very same password.

I’ve already uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin, and I’ve used the password reset link on the login page at rankmath.com. My updated password is not accepted either. This is very frustrating.

Problem: My RankMath credentials are not being accepted in the Setup Wizard. I’ve reset my password, my new password is also not accepted. I can’t proceed further…

  • I’m using a complex password… does RankMath have a character limit or limit the use of special characters in passwords? There are no limits listed on the password reset form, but I thought I’d ask as perhaps that is the problem.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

No there is no character limit for the password field. Please attempt to login from an incognito window on your browser and let us know if the problem is still experienced?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.
