  • Hello,

I understand that you are facing an issue where certain pages on your website, such as https://twitter.com/JohnMu/status/1409567136322838530?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw are not being indexed in the search console even though you did not create these pages. This issue might be related to pages with redirects not being indexed.

To address this problem, you can follow these steps:

    1. Orphan Pages: Ensure that there is a good internal linking structure on your website. Pages without internal links are considered orphan pages by Google. Adding internal links to these pages can help Google crawl and index them. You can learn more about orphan pages here.

    2. Internal No-follow Links: Check for internal links with a no-follow attribute. These links may prevent Google from considering the linked pages as important. Make sure that internal links are set up correctly to help Google understand the importance of each page.

    3. Unimportant Redirects: If the pages in question contain redirects, especially internal ones, consider removing or replacing these redirects with relevant internal links. This can help Google better understand the content and importance of the pages.

By addressing these issues related to internal linking, you can improve the crawlability and indexing of your website’s pages. If you need further assistance or have any more questions, please feel free to reach out to our support team here.

Thank you for reaching out with your concern.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We checked the URLs you’ve shared and we can see they are getting redirected to the category pages.

Please note that if the pages are not causing any problems and redirect users to the correct page, then there is no need to fix it and you can ignore the error.

For more details on this issue, you can check this URL: https://rankmath.com/kb/page-with-redirect/

However, you can also use the URL inspection tool of your GSC account to check the URLs and view the referring page to make sure from where it is coming.

Once you know the referring page, you can unlink or remove it so Google won’t discover it again.

Hope that helps and please don’t hesitate to let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.
