Pages removed from site map

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with pages being removed from your sitemap. This can happen for a few reasons:

    1. Custom Canonicals: If you have added custom canonical URLs to your posts, those posts may not appear in the sitemap. Rank Math includes a self-referencing canonical by default, so if you want all your posts to be shown in the sitemap, consider removing any custom canonicals.

    2. Robots.txt Rules: Ensure that there are no unintended rules in your robots.txt file that might be blocking certain pages from being indexed. You can check this by going to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → robots.txt.

    3. Plugin Conflicts: Sometimes, conflicts with other plugins can cause issues with the sitemap. You might want to check for any plugin conflicts using the Health Check plugin.

    4. Caching Issues: If you are using caching plugins, ensure that they are configured correctly and not interfering with the sitemap generation.

If these suggestions do not resolve the issue, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further.

Thank you for raising this concern!
