Pages not indexing

We apologize for the issue you are facing with your pages not indexing. It seems like there might be a conflict between your settings and the actual meta tags present in your source code. Here are some steps you can take to resolve this:

1. Check the Noindex Attribute: Ensure that the page is not set to noindex. You can do this by inspecting the source code of your page. Look for a line like “. If you find it, that’s why Google is not indexing your page.

   

2. WordPress Global Settings: Go to your WordPress Dashboard and check the global settings:

   • Navigate to Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta → Posts/Pages/Products/CPTs and ensure that the noindex option is not enabled for the specific post type.
   • Also, check under Settings → Reading to ensure that the Discourage search engines from indexing this site option is unchecked.

   

3. Robots.txt File: Make sure your robots.txt file does not contain any rules that prevent Google from crawling your pages. You can check this by visiting your robots.txt file (e.g., https://rankmath.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/07/Discovered-currently-not-indexed-status.png). If there are anyDisallow` rules affecting your pages, you will need to modify them.

   

4. Clear Cache: If you are using any caching plugins, clear the cache after making these changes to ensure that the latest version of your pages is served to visitors and search engines.

5. Re-submit to Google: After making these adjustments, go back to Google Search Console and request indexing for the affected pages again.
