Pages are not getting indexed due to crawl budget.

Hi, I have a large website configured with rank math, but the problem is with indexing as my crawl budget is exhausting and most of the URLs are not getting daily indexed. And crawling sets daily I have checked In GSC.

So can anyone tell me how to set the frequency of the sitemap (change freq & change value) in Rankmath or with custom code?

I tried checking everywhere and it’s saying Google deprecated the changefreq.

So please help me with any other solution as my large number of pages are still unindexed.

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention.

Please note that we do not have the option to set <priority> and <changefreq> values in sitemaps as they are no longer needed or required when creating sitemaps.

You should check your Google Search Console > Indexing > Pages section to determine any issues reported on your URLs that may have prevented your site from being indexed:

To better understand the status reported, you may refer to our guide here:

    Looking forward to helping you.
