Hi. I have automatic indexing enabled and I realized that I have more than 200 articles without indexing in google search console. I don’t know why as I think I have the plugin configured correctly.

Hello, we apologize for the issue you are facing with your pages not being indexed. There could be several reasons why your articles are not showing up in Google Search Console despite having automatic indexing enabled. Here are some common factors to consider:
-
Crawled – Currently Not Indexed: This status indicates that Google has crawled your pages but has chosen not to index them. This can happen due to various reasons, including content quality or prioritization issues. You can check for this status in your Google Search Console and follow the steps outlined in our guide to address it. For more details, refer to this article: Discovered – Currently Not Indexed.
-
Quality Checks: Google evaluates the quality of your content before indexing. Ensure that your articles provide significant value, avoid thin or duplicate content, and have a good internal linking structure.
-
Crawl Budget Issues: If your website has many low-quality pages, it might affect the crawl budget allocated by Google, leading to important pages not being crawled or indexed enough. You can improve this by enhancing your internal linking structure and ensuring that valuable pages are easily accessible.
-
New Website: If your website is relatively new, it may take some time for Google to index all your pages. Patience is key in such cases.
-
Technical Issues: Check for any technical problems that might prevent crawling, such as robots.txt restrictions or slow load times.
We recommend reviewing these factors and making necessary adjustments. If the issue persists, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!
Hello,
You should check your Google Search Console > Indexing > Pages section to determine any issues reported on your URLs that may have prevented your site from being indexed:

Hello.
The question is that out of 250 URLs, approximately 200 were not indexed, and I am indexing them manually because they are still not indexed. I do not think this is normal, having correctly integrated Search Console and correctly configured the Instant Indexing.Hello,
Could you please share a few of the affected URLs with us so that we can check the issue further for you?
Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hello,
I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?
Thank you.
Hello,
We checked the URLs you’ve shared but couldn’t find any issues that may prevent them from being indexed on Google.
In this case, please test some affected URLs in the URL Inspection Tool and share the screenshot of the result with us: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/9012289?hl=en
You can use any image-sharing tool like https://imgur.com/upload to share the screenshot.
Regarding the feed URLs, they are only the basic code versions of your actual content pages and are generated by WordPress. You will not want these pages to be indexed as Google doesn’t like them and would most not likely not show them to users anyway.
If you want to disable them on your site, you can follow this guide:
https://rankmath.com/kb/disable-rss-feeds/Alternatively, you can disallow bots from crawling the feed URLs from the robots.txt file at WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > General Settings > Edit Robots.txt:
User-Agent: * Disallow: */feed*
Once done, give Google some time to recrawl your site to reflect the changes.
Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.
Thank you.
Hello,

Hello,
We can see that the URLs in the screenshot are showing the same status from Google.
The Crawled – currently not indexed status means Google has crawled these pages but has not indexed them. Finding a certain number of URLs with this status is entirely normal because Google does not index all the URLs we submit.
This isn’t an error but there are some reasons for excluding the pages from its index. Here’s a link for more information and how to fix it: https://rankmath.com/kb/crawled-currently-not-indexed/
There is nothing you can do to solve the Crawled – Currently not Indexed status other than wait for Google to start indexing them, as it means that Google has successfully crawled the URLs but hasn’t decided to index them yet due to reasons only known to them.
Hope that helps and please do not hesitate to let us know if you need our assistance with anything else.
