    Hi,

    We are currently using your AI bulk editor to write the page titles on the products.
    It is writing them like this – Bennie 5 Woodburning Stove –
    we would prefer it wrote them like this – Bennie 5 Woodburning Stove|Logburners .
    Logburners is the name of the website. Can we set it to include the site name on all auto generated titles?
    Thanks

    P.s this is under a different account

  • Hello,

    We apologize for the issue you are facing with the bulk editor for writing page titles. Thank you for raising this concern.

    To include your site name in all auto-generated titles, you can set up a global template for the SEO title using variables in Rank Math. Here’s how you can do it:

    1. Go to Rank Math SEO → Title and Meta → Posts.
    2. In the settings, you can create a global SEO title template that includes your site name. For example, you can set it as %%title%%|Logburners.
    3. This way, every time a title is generated, it will automatically append your site name to it.

    If you need further assistance with this setup, please reply to this ticket, and a human agent from the Rank Math Support team will be happy to help you.

    Best regards!

    this is on products and it was already set to – %title% %page% %sep% %sitename%

    any update on this please? as we have been though the entire site and the page titles still look like this – Bennie 5 Woodburning Stove and not like this – Bennie 5 Woodburning Stove | Logburners.
    We do not want to have to rebuild them again with AI as it will cost us credits.
    Please advise asap

    Hello,

    Thank you so much for getting in touch.

    The meta titles will be generated based on the content of the post and currently, it doesn’t prioritize mentioning the site name. Also, since the post will now have the custom title generated by the AI, the default meta title settings will be ignored.

    At the moment, there’s no way to automatically insert the site name to your meta title generated by our AI.

    However, we can do a workaround by using filter codes. You can make use of this code to forcibly add the site name to posts with custom meta titles being applied:

    add_filter( 'rank_math/frontend/title', function( $title ) {
    	global $post;
    	$rank_math_title = get_post_meta($post->ID, 'rank_math_title', true);
    	if (!empty($rank_math_title)) {
    		$title = $title . ' ' . RankMath\Helper::replace_vars('| %sitename%');
    	}

    	return $title;
    });

    You may refer to this guide on how to add filters to your website: https://rankmath.com/kb/wordpress-hooks-actions-filters/

    Hope that helps.
