Hello,
Using %excerpt% variable automatically generates the meta description from your content. e look at the first paragraph and use that as the meta description. If you wish to choose something else, you can do so from WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts.

I think we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WordPress logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.
It is completely secure and only our support staff has access to that section. If you want, you can use the below plugin to generate a temporary login URL to your website and share that with us instead:

Rank Math is not generating content-picked meta descriptions i.e. 160 characters of starting paragraph of single post/page.
In newer published posts the same problem occurs. And the description has the same data whether it’s an old or new post.

It seems to be happening because you are typing all the content inside the Classic Block, so Rank Math is not able to detect the content.
That is also why when my colleague tried in the new post, using the normal Gutenberg blocks, everything was working fine.

But this time you are wrong. It is a misconception. That the rank math is not capable of detecting content for meta description just because we are used the Classic Editor plugin.
I have another website (Sarkari Result) and we are using Rank Math with the classic editor plugin here. Rank Math on this website easily creates all meta description as well as other tags.

The issue seems to be on the posts you have added your content as a table. How are you adding the table on your post? Are you using any plugin?
