I am getting the following error in Google Search Consoles Page experience report

Insufficient HTTPS coverage on your site

I do not understand why I am getting this message, all my site is served with HTTPS,
my sitemap and indexed pages on search are only HTTPS (I have 0 HTTP pages and searching google with site: lists all my HTTPS indexed pages)

I have 0 errors or manual/security actions and HTTPS is not blocked by robots.txt

Any idea why I am getting these errors?

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

This issue involves the core web vitals of your site since it relates to page exprience of your site which include the HTTPS security, absence of intrusive interstitials, safe browsing status, and mobile friendliness.

For your HTTPS you need to ensure this is enabled and all your HTTP pages are redirected to HTTPS. This is literaly a new update from Google as shown here: https://developers.google.com/search/blog/2021/04/more-details-page-experience

Similar instances of this issue has been identified and it seems to be coming from Google Search console.

As of now we may only recommend taking advice from the guide linked here and see if there are any chnages.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

There certainly are instances of this, as the link you posted, is the thread I started on the Google search console help community forum. 🙂

But other people have said the same thing in the threads, so at least I am not alone.

As for redirecting my HTTP pages, I do not have any HTTP pages to be redirected. Even though I have put HSTS and 301 Redirects in place.

GSC Community experts have suggested it is a possible error in the new crawl for page experience (maybe relating to HTTP/2)

    Thank you for your reply
