    Dear team,
    Thanks for such great plugin!
The plugin is outstanding. I feel most imp feature that is outbound link management
I have gone through https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/over-ride-relnofollow-links/ This and https://support.rankmath.com/ticket/how-to-add-dofollow-links/ this as well.

It seems that not only I but many good seo nerds are facing same difficulty, adding SELECTIVE DO FOLLOW LINKS something that is very basic for SEO 2.0 era.

    I propose below solution :
When user select Globally, no follow > the link insertion box on blog / article shoud show toggle to “Make Do-Follow” and vice versa (when Global No follow is disabled, this option turns to be “add No Follow, as it is right now.

Also, let me know exact process to manually add Do Follow links till you implement this feature.
    Thanks in advance!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Not sure if I got your solution quite clear here.

the link insertion box on blog / article shoud show toggle to “Make Do-Follow” and vice versa

Could you please specify where you find the toggle “Make Do Follow”.

As per the option to add a do-follow manually, this is actually done by leaving the link without a nofollow. Our overriding concept can work as enabling the nofollow option in the general settings and then inserting the domains that you wish to exclude from the nofollow attribute.

That way they will automatically be follow links. Only that we do not add these attributes to the links as Google automatically understands that they are not nofollowso long as they do not have that attribute.

    Hope this helps.

    Thank you.

    Dear support,
I think I was bit misunderstood in my text. (accept my apologies for the text as English is not my native language)

You are right, in current scenario, RankMath only gives option to do NoFollow while inserting link.

The above mentioned toggle is a kind of solution that I have proposed.

As of now, There are two ways to do links no follow : 1. go to link management setting and make all links “No-Follow”
    Global No-Follow
    2. the other way is : When you insert link, Manually make them “No-Follow”.
    Selective No-Follow

The solution I have proposed is :
Actually, There is no use of “Make Link No-follow” in the link insertion box (that pops up while inserting link) while we have already enabled global No Follow.
What is really needed is “Make this link Follow” in that link insertion box.
By seeing the quality of plugin, It seems that this has remained as bug. which has gone un-noticed by team.

Hope this clears my query, the solution and my reply to answer.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

I have understood what you mean now. So you actually want an option within the WP Editor section to set the link as follow. This is while there is an option on the global settings to set the nofollow.

Please confirm this as we push this to our devs team regarding your concern.

However, do note that this feature does not have to be added as all links without this attribute always bears a follow attribute by default.

We are looking forward to hearing from you.
    Thank you.

    Hi Brian,
    Apologies for delayed reply.

I have understood what you mean now. So you actually want an option within the WP Editor section to set the link as follow. This is while there is an option on the global settings to set the NoFollow.

CORRECT! By default, the settings are : Global setting : do follow and selective setting (WP Editor Setting) is No Follow. But When we globally shift the setting to No Follow (That will make all links in All pages and posts NoFollow By Default) The WP Editor should show toggle as DoFollow. Simple Concept of Overriding the Inheritance!

Hope this will make RankMath Much user-friendly SEO Plugin!

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Kindly allow me to forward this issue to the developer’s team and see if there is a solution to it.

Well if one is found we will definitely be in touch to let you know of any updates.

We are looking forward to helping you.
    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

Thanks for getting back to us.

Currently, you can remove the nofollow tag based on the domain of the link that you have on your content:
    Nofollow external links

This is pretty useful if you want to add some domains to your “trusted” list and allow the links to be dofollow.

However, I understand that sometimes you might want some more fine-grain control over a specific link instead of the entire domain. Because of that, I’ll add this feature to our internal list of suggestions and if we implement this in the future we’ll let you know.

If you have any other questions don’t hesitate to get in touch.

    We are here to help!

    Thanks Miguel,
Will love to see this feature live!
Hope my comments may have helped RankMath.
