Optimising Home Page – Total Theme by Hash Themes

    I would like to optimise the home page on my website. I do not understand how to proceed.

    The home page is composed of three WP pages.

    1) The ‘Front Page’ as WP calls it. This has no content to optimise. This page is selected in settings – reading – homepage.

    2) A page called ‘The Milebuilding Club’ which contains a small piece of text for the slider and the header image

    3) A page called ‘A brilliant way to build…’. This page contains the home page text. In the Total theme this is added to the home page under ‘customise’ and is ‘about us’ text.

    Only 3) above has any text to optimise. All pages – 1), 2) & 3) can have meta data added I guess??? My question is which page do I optimise with Rank Math and what should I do with the pages I do not optimise – or do I try to optimise all three?

    Your theme divides the homepage in several sections, each of them is a page. You should optimize the page selected in settings as ‘homepage’, since it is the one when loaded will display the meta tags you set (like the meta title and meta description).

    The problem with the way your theme works is since you have to add the homepage in different pages but you have to optimize the ‘homepage’ (since it is the one to be displayed and the one who loads the others), you won’t be able to get the most from the SEO Score tool, since it won’t read the homepage content from different pages.

    Anyway, you could try to optimize all those “sections” for the keyword from the homepage, but you have to be careful to don’t do keyword stuffing (since you will be adding a lot of times your main keyword on several sections).
