I had this issue before and now it’s back again.

    Open graph tags are incomplete.
I want to know why this has happened again and please solve this error soon.

Please check the screenshot link in sensitive data to identify the problem. I ran an ahrefs site audit and found this errors since the past 2 weeks.

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Would you mind sharing more details about the issue you are facing? And which tool are you using to validate the open graph tags?

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

I used Ahrefs site audit to validate. I have sent you the link to the screenshot please check it. Let me know what else you need!

    Hello,

I have checked the screenshot that you have shared here and have also checked the site – https://thesagemillennial.com/ on Facebook Debugger.

All the OpenGraph Attributes are displaying fine and you can check that here – https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fthesagemillennial.com%2F

There is, however, a warning in the Debugger – The ‘og:image’ property should be explicitly provided, even if a value can be inferred from other tags.

In order to rectify this issue, please have a look at this troubleshooting guide – https://rankmath.com/kb/ogimage-property-should-be-explicitly-provided/ and check if this helps in resolving the issue.

Let us know how it goes.

Looking forward to helping you. Thank you.

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

I have added another link that shows a directory problem. Please let me know how to solve this.

I read the above article, It just says to install rank math plugin (which I already have) So now what to do?

    Hello,

Please make sure that you have added a featured image for your homepage or added an image in the Social Snippet editor of Rank Math’s meta box. You can also add a default OpenGraph thumbnail in WP Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thanks.

I had already added OpenGraph Thumbnail the last time this error came. I checked it again, it’s still present.

I also added a featured image to the home screen. Please recheck and let me know!

    Hello,

I have updated the sensitive data as requested. Can you please check further?

    Thank you.

    Hello,

I have checked your site and found that the Facebook Debugger is showing the correct og:image that you have set on your site.

Your home page consists of a Featured Image and Rank Math takes that featured image as the og:image for that particular page.

You can check the results of my testing on facebook debugger here – https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/?q=https%3A%2F%2Fthesagemillennial.com%2F

Also, this is the image that you’ve set as the Featured Image of the Homepage, and as you can see in the link above, it is being displayed correctly in the Facebook Debugger.

    Featured Image

    Hope this helps.

    Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hey,
Sorry for the late reply. But my error is still there. It shows Open graph tags missing. What to do about that?

    Hello,

I checked your website and the og:image has been added, Facebook was able to detect it in the Sharing Debugger. Please refer to my screenshot in the Sensitive Data section.

Please clear your website cache including any server-level caching services that might still be caching your homepage. After doing so, allow ahrefs to recrawl your site.

Let us know how that goes. Looking forward to helping you on this one.

    Hey,

I did that but I’m still getting the issue

(Updates in Sensitive data) These pages show the error. What to do now?

    Hello,

Cann you please check if the OpenGraph thumbnail in the Global meta setting is of the recommended dimensions and type.

Recommended dimensions 1200px X 630px and the supported file type are only jpeg, png, or gif.

If the issue persists, please share the website’s login details by following the steps mentioned by my colleague above.

We look forward to helping you.
