Open Graph Not Showing Complete Image

    Hello,

    When I want to link a post of mine on Facebook I only see 80% of the feature image in the image preview.

    This is the proper image. https://ibb.co/JHqWk2r

    However when I go to Facebook and I generate a link this is what you see. https://ibb.co/BnRHM39
    As you can tell the left part of the image is cut off.

    This is a big problem as you can’t read the caption.

    Interestingly when I go the the RankMath Facebook option and change the image to this. https://ibb.co/dtG7MGV
    Nothing at all changes in the end. The cropped off image in facebook is still the same as before.

    What is going on?
    How can I get the full image to show up when I wish to share a link to a post?

    I checked it and it seems like something we might need to take a closer look at the settings. Please edit the first post on this ticket and include your WP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section.

    Hello,

    After checking all the settings, it seems it is being cropped due to the images aspect ratio. According to the Facebook docs, images should follow a 1.91:1 aspect ratio. This should prevent the image from being cropped.

    You have to upload images with 1200x630px dimensions.

    Anything above that will be cropped and if the aspect ratio is not maintained then the image will get cropped.

    I did this but it is not working.

    I used these dimension 1200x630px to create a new picture (https://ibb.co/LQzwXZs) however the preview that I see on FB is not the one that I uploaded in RankMath’s Facebook section (https://ibb.co/PjPjhCm)

    You can verify this.

    I am seeing the same image you have set in your post on Facebook as you can see in the screenshot I shared in the Sensitive Data section, could you check it?

    It could be Facebook had cached the other image but now it is using the right one.
