Ominous Warning in Oxygen Editor Related to RM Shortcode – rank_math_breadcrumb

    I don’t know what has caused this error to suddenly occur. It appears to be related to the breadcrumb functionality provided by a Rank Math shortcode. However, the error does not go away even when the Rank Math SEO plugin is disabled.

    Additionally, repeated Oxygen Shortcode signings do not eliminate this error.

    I am at a loss as to what to do to eliminate this ominous warning which seems to indicate that saving any page in the editor will “result in this design breaking”….please see the screen capture.

    Would appreciate any help to fix this.

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for the delay and for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

    Could you please check if the Rank Math breadcrumbs code is added to your theme’s functions.php or header.php file? It seems that the code was placed in your theme’s file that’s why it is showing that error even Rank Math is disabled.

    You can also add your FTP logins in the designated Sensitive Data section for us to investigate this issue further.

    Hi Reinelle,

    Quick answer to your question is – “no”.

    I have not added the Rank Math breadcrumbs code to a functions.php or header.php file.

    I have added it as a regular, ordinary shortcode in the Oxygen Builder editor…that’s all.

    I’ve provided credentials in the Sensitive Area of my Support request enabling you to log into the site. How can FTP logs be more helpful than the direct access to the site that I have provided?

    Anyway, would appreciate if you could have a look directly at the site and the error.

    Hey guys,

    Thanks for the quick action on this.

    I have just updated to Oxygen 3.7.1 and reconnected my site to Rank Math.

    Can’t explain what happened but the error that was the basis for this support ticket has disappeared completely.

    Obviously, there was something wrong but it has been mysteriously fixed…as mysteriously as it appeared.
