The og:image tag is not showing on the page sources. In some page sources, the default share image link is showing in the og:image tag.
Means totally a mass. Using Litespeed cache to optimize pages.
Although the meta tags are showing before the minified or inline css, but issue remains with the image tag.
Contacted Litespeed support, they told that the issue might be from Object cache.
Now Please help me to find out the actual cause.

  • Hello,

We apologize for the issue you are facing with the missing og:image tag on your optimized pages. It sounds like a frustrating situation, and we appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot the issue:

    1. Check Page Source: First, ensure that the og:image tag is present in the page source. You can do this by right-clicking on your page and selecting View Page Source. Look for the og:image tag to confirm if it is being generated correctly.
Check OpenGraph Image tags in source code

    2. Minification and Caching: Since you are using Litespeed cache, ensure that the minification settings are not interfering with the output of the Open Graph tags. Sometimes aggressive minification can push important tags down in the source code, making them inaccessible to social media crawlers. If possible, try disabling minification temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

    3. Object Cache: As Litespeed support mentioned, the object cache could be affecting how the tags are being served. You might want to clear the object cache and see if that helps in displaying the correct og:image tag.

    4. Check for Conflicts: There could be conflicts with other plugins or your theme that might be causing this issue. You can follow our troubleshooting guide to identify any potential conflicts.

    5. Image Accessibility: Ensure that the image you want to use as og:image is accessible and not returning any errors (like 403 Forbidden). You can check this using a URL checker tool like HTTP Status Checker.
      Check if URL is accessible

    6. Default Share Image: If a default share image is showing instead of your specified image, make sure that you have set the correct image in the Rank Math settings for each page. You can refer to our guide on Open Graph Meta Tags for more details.

If after trying these steps the issue persists, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that we can assist you further. A human agent from our support team will take over and help resolve this issue.

Thank you for your patience, and we look forward to helping you get this sorted out!

    Hello,

Thank you for contacting us and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

We tried to check your website but couldn’t access it due to 2FA. You can temporarily disable the 2FA or can assign the following email address so that we can get the verification link: s******@r***********

Meanwhile, please make sure the opengraph image you’re using has the appropriate size and format according to the guidelines: https://rankmath.com/kb/open-graph-image-not-displaying/#num-4-2-image-dimensions-image-format

Once done, please try to clear your website cache including any server-level cache, and check again.

For more details, you can check this URL: https://rankmath.com/kb/open-graph-image-not-displaying/

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    2FA disabled. Please check now.

Checked for any plugin conflict and found a plugin that conflicts with Rankmath. Plugin name is RH Frontend publishing which included in the theme and may be outdated version. Disabled it and found the og:image tags are showing now but still waiting for cache buildup to check further.

I am using the same plugin in 2 other websites and Surprisingly there are no og:image issues. it’s very confusing.

    Hello,

We can confirm the og:image meta tag is currently added to your page and Facebook is also able to fetch this:

However, if activating that plugin removes the og:image meta tag, we suggest you get in touch with this plugin support and inform them about this issue as they might already have a solution for this.

Let us know how it goes. Looking forward to helping you.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Thank you.
