Thanks for your quick help, the plugin Classic Editor is the culprit. I am very unhappy with that, because for an old woman the Gutenberg Editor is not very comfortable to work with.

Well that is a bit odd, I have been running the Classic editor with no such issues after the update. Can you confirm that you are using the latest version of this plugin?
Please note that there are alternatives available for disabling Gutenberg such as this plugin:

I used verson 1.5 from classic editor. I tried “disable gutenberg” version 2.0 and got the same issue

Rolling back to 1.0.37.1 everything is ok.

This issue is very odd, the referenced post is the only one affected by this problem on your site. I have also copied the post content on my end and it works as expected without errors.

I think this has something to do with how you wrote that post. I see some issues with the HTML and even the “Text” tab doesn’t work.
When I moved all the content from the visual tab to a draft, everything worked fine:

You might want to do the same as this is a post related issue. In the meantime, we will also check why this is happening only a select few posts but we suspect it has to do with some malformed HTML tag present in those posts.
