Not understanding why Focus Keyword is not recognized

Hello, I’m using the free version of RankMath, and despite the extensive documentation you have, I’m still not understanding why what I’m doing appears to be incorrect. I want my focus Keyword on my Homepage to be Mindfulness & Meditation or Mindfulness & Meditation Workshops and Courses, but even though I edit the Snippet and use those words, the RankMath side panel keeps telling me “Focus Keyword does not appear in the SEO title.” I don’t get it. Why isn’t it recognised even though it’s in the snippet as well as in various places all over the landing page?

Thanks in advance. I’ve attached a link to a screenshot on Imgur.

    Kind regards,
    David Green

  • Hello,

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and bringing your concern to our attention. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this issue may have caused you.

I’ve checked your homepage, and the title is Anchored Meditation.

Rank Math looks for the exact match of the focus keyword you have set in the title. To pass the test, you need to update the title or the focus keyword for them to match.

However, please note that these tests are only there for your reference to help you in optimizing your pages/post content. If you feel any of them doesn’t apply to your page, please feel free to ignore them.

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you.
