I wasn’t specific enough.
I’ve set the breadcrumbs, but it only shows the blog title but not its parent category. (check screenshot).
As you can see the “show Category” has been ticked.
I activated the breadcrumbs via shortcode.
But there are no categories shown. Before (with Yoast) they where showing.

it seems to work as long as i am in the categories.. but as soon as i am in a post it doesnt show the parent categories anymore.

To show the category in the Breadcrumbs, please head over to your WordPress Dashboard > Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Posts > Primary Taxonomy, and from there select the Categories option:
