Not seeing post schema on posts

    Rank Math free

I am not seeing a post or article schema on my posts when I look at the source code. This is a Divi site.

I can open the schema generator in the RankMath settings for the post and blog post seems to be correctly selected. I do notice that there are no options shown for author etc. but I am guessing that might be because these default to the post author — and I want it to do that.

I also checked the configuration for posts in general and it doesn’t look like I have changed anything there.

Is there something else I need to do to activate the schema for this posts (or posts in general)?

    Thank you so much

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with the post schema not appearing on your posts. It sounds like you’ve already checked some important settings in Rank Math. Here are a few steps you can take to ensure that the schema is activated correctly:

    1. Default Schema Settings: Make sure that you have set a default schema type for your posts. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → Titles and Meta and selecting the appropriate schema type under the Posts option.
Select Default Schema Type For Posts

    2. Schema Generator: Since you mentioned that you can open the schema generator, ensure that you have selected the correct schema type (e.g., BlogPosting) for each individual post. If you want to use the default author, you typically don’t need to fill in those fields manually.
Open The Schema Generator In Rank Math

    3. Check for Conflicts: Sometimes, themes or other plugins can conflict with Rank Math. Since you’re using Divi, ensure that there are no settings in Divi that might be overriding or conflicting with the schema settings.

    4. Clear Cache: If you are using any caching plugins or server-side caching, clear the cache after making changes to ensure that the latest version of your posts is being served.

    5. Inspect Source Code: After making these changes, inspect the source code of your posts again to see if the schema markup appears as expected.

If you’ve gone through these steps and still don’t see the schema, please reply to this ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. Thank you for raising this concern!

Nevermind. I tried the suggested methods to resolve the problem but then realized that the article schema was there, it was just all on one line with the other schema so it was difficult to read.
