Not Indexing and Showing Posts in Sitemap from specific category

    Hi there,

    We no-indexed a category because we want posts that are within that category not get indexed by Google and not be shown in the sitemap. But posts that are within that category are still visible in the sitemap. (screenshot of category settings: https://share.cleanshot.com/I9TD5F)

    How can I fix this?

    Hello,

    Thank you for contacting Rank Math, and sorry for any inconvenience caused.

    To remove those posts from the sitemap, you need to set them to noindex.

    You can mark the posts to noindex from the Advanced tab in the SEO Meta Box in your posts.

    Once done, flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
