Not Getting Sitemap in root/sitemap.xml

Recently, I set up the plugin but while I am checking the XML sitemap of my website at https://socioblaze.com/sitemap.xml I am not getting the sitemap but when I am checking my robots.txt file I am getting the XML sitemap link i.e., https://socioblaze.com/index.php/sitemap_index.xml (why I am not getting XML sitemap directly under root?).

Thank you for contacting Rank Math and sorry for any inconvenience that might have been caused due to that.

Rank Math doesn’t create any sitemaps file but it uses a virtual one. In any case, it uses the sitemap_index.xml name (and not sitemap.xml).

I would suggest you to check your permalinks (WordPress Dashboard > Settings > Permalinks) because you might have configured it to have the https://site.com/index.php structure instead of https://site.com/.
