Thanks a lot for your query and we are so sorry about the trouble this must have caused.
WP 5.5 brought a new error (not actually an error) that is not covered much and is related to the new jQuery version in the core. That is breaking many old themes and plugins. You have to stick with the developer that updates their products regularly or check with them and ensure they are compatible with WP 5.5
To ensure this is not an issue with Rank Math, please keep only Rank Math and the default Twenty Twenty Theme enabled and then check the Rank Math options. They should be working fine.

As an extra information, we have also found that the WordPress team published a plugin to fix this issue meanwhile the theme developers update their themes to work with the latest WordPress version. You can download it here: https://wordpress.org/plugins/enable-jquery-migrate-helper/#description
