Upon checking, I’m getting a Sorry, you are not allowed to access this page. error when connecting your site to your Rank Math account.
Could you please check if your website has the ModSec (ModSecurity) feature enabled on your server?
If so, please disable that and check if the issue still persists on your site. You can get in touch with your web host for assistance if you’re unable to check it from your end.

We tried by removing mod_sec by htaccess and they tried to install, but still got the same error and it did not work either.
Note:
Reinelle – I read on the Google that disable Mod_Security is not recommended. Read this:
“We will not recommend to disable Mod-Security on your account. Mod_security module helps to protect your website from various attacks. If mod-security is disabled on your account, your website will be at risk from vulnerabilities.”

If that is the case Since you have explicitly mentioned the FTP logins for the staging site. Could you please rename the plugin folder to something else and change your theme to the default one. Login with the admin account? And check if you can access it now?
If the issue persists, Please check the usermeta table for the particular user ID, check for the meta_key ->. wp_capabilities and make sure it matches with a:1:{s:13:"administrator";b:1;} It simply means Administrator.
If everything is in check, I suggest you restore your site’s backup to its previous state.

I tried all the above steps on staging site, But still did not work. Same error again.
I renamed the plugin folder, Activate default theme, Check admin capabilities but still same error persist.

You can find the database table wpstg0_admins, and inside, you can find that user. Since I wasn’t sure about that, I wanted to confirm whether you are aware of it or not.
Since the main user is the one you shared in the sensitive data section with all the admin capabilities, could you please confirm if it’s was previously working?

I checked it now and removed that user jjchatadmin from admin table. its not any user currently. We used below user and it has all the admin capabilities. We shared this earlier as well.

We wanted to troubleshoot the issue further but it looks like the FTP key link is expired. Also, It surely looks like the issue is with the permission. Did you installed any plugins which controls the permissions of the user account? If you know please kindly install the same plugin on the staging site.
