I followed all the suggestions , but google search console still have many pages from my site with a “noindex” tag. I checked all i can but i couldn’t fix it.
I use the litespeed plugin which has a robots.txt file in it, would it be the cause? the content of the file is:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /

I created a robots.txt file in my root directory based on the rank math sample:

    User-agent: *
    Disallow: /wp-admin/
    Allow: !/wp-admin/

    Sitemap: https://tecendoatrama.blog.br/sitemap_index.xml

But I don’t know if there are some “Noindex” tags on my pages…is there a practical way to correct that

  • Hello,

I apologize for the issue you are facing with the "noindex" tags on your site. It sounds like you’ve already taken some important steps to troubleshoot this issue.

Here are a few suggestions to help you further:

    1. Check for Noindex Tags: You can check if your pages have a "noindex" tag by viewing the page source in your browser. Right-click on the page and select "View Page Source" or "Inspect". Look for the following line in the “ section:

If you find this tag, it means that the page is set to noindex.

    2. Rank Math Settings: Ensure that you haven’t accidentally set any of your posts or pages to noindex in Rank Math. You can check this by going to WordPress Dashboard → Rank Math SEO → Titles & Meta and reviewing the settings for Posts, Pages, and Custom Post Types.

    3. Robots.txt File: The robots.txt file you mentioned from the LiteSpeed plugin is indeed blocking all crawlers from accessing your site due to the line Disallow: /. This could prevent Google from crawling your pages, which might lead to indexing issues. You should consider removing or modifying that line in the LiteSpeed plugin settings to allow Googlebot to crawl your site.

    4. Edit Your Robots.txt with Rank Math: Since you have created a new robots.txt file based on Rank Math’s sample, ensure that it is correctly set up in Rank Math. You can do this by navigating to Rank Math SEO → General Settings → Edit robots.txt and pasting your desired rules there. Make sure to save the changes.

    5. Use the URL Inspection Tool: In Google Search Console, use the URL Inspection Tool to check specific URLs. This tool will show you if a page is indexed or if there are any issues with it, including noindex tags.

    6. Clear Cache: If you are using caching plugins (like LiteSpeed), make sure to clear your cache after making changes to ensure that the latest version of your pages is being served.

If you’re still having trouble after checking these items, we recommend replying to your ticket with your site URL so that a human agent from our support team can assist you further. They can provide more tailored help based on your specific situation.

Thank you for raising this concern, and we hope this helps you resolve the issue!

Regarding the #1 of your answer:

<!– Busque Nas Tramas Engine Optimization by Rank Math PRO – https://rankmath.com/ –>
    <title>Enlaces – Tecendo a Trama</title>
<meta name=”description” content=”Enlaces trata de reflexões sobre filmes e livros relacionados ao mundo BDSM”/>
    <meta name=”robots” content=”follow, noindex”/>

Even when the advanced robots index option is checked
I would paste an image but i see no option to do that

on the wordpress bar, under the Rank Math menu, no matter what I do, I got :

Mark this page as>>Noindex. I uncheck it, and it comes back

    Hello,

For troubleshooting, head over to Rank Math > Titles & Meta > Global Meta and disable this option (if not yet)

    empty

Once done, clear your website’s cache and check again the source code of the URL.
